Cuba — good to know
In Cuba, foreign-card withdrawals are very unreliable: cards issued by US banks never work (embargo), and non-US Visa/Mastercard work only intermittently — several networks suspended transactions in 2026. ATMs dispense only Cuban pesos (CUP). Bring cash (euros/dollars) and check with your bank before you travel.
